Somerstown, St Pancras

Somerstown St Pancras is a high-density, mixed-use development proposed for a redundant works site behind the British Library in Central London. The proposals utilise an innovative interpretation of planning constraints to provide over 750,000sqft of accommodation that includes Apartments, Student Housing, Hotel, Office, Leisure and Retail uses.

The design reflects the former rail use of the site and evolves as a series of equidistant tracks rising out of the ground, which step back as the aspect distance requirements change for each use. We worked together with Hunter Page Planning Consultants on this proposal.

Our clients were short listed in their bid for this site.
