Ramsden and Partners is a national architectural practice dedicated to making a positive contribution to the built environment. The practice provides a first class service to clients, supported by an experienced and professional team.
We undertake a wide range of projects across all
sectors. We currently have projects in the office
ranging from a bespoke house for a private client,
to a £10Million mixed use development in West
London which is projected to start on site in 2009.
We also have considerable retail, motor trade and
local authority experience.
Kate joined the practice in 2010 and currently heads the London office, her passion for design is clearly expressed in the work produced and a conscientious and creative appetite for the built environment produces an exciting brand of architecture.

Karen joined the practice to assist in the co direction of our London office; sharing a passion for all things creative. She balances innovative design with a pragmatic approach, having built her own home. This together with her genuine interest in producing architecture with green credentials is an asset to any client or creative team.

Simon joined the practice in June 2002 and is an associate in the Leeds Office. He brings straightforward thinking to a project, ensuring everyone feels valued in the team to gain maximum productivity. He is very keen to see good quality architecture help influence and accommodate the modern and changing needs of society. Since 2003 he has spearheaded the practices uptake of Revit and BIM, providing training to other members of staff and ensuring its intergration into the practices workflow, which has helped to maintain the quality of the work produced.

Alan along with David and Paul as co-directors set up the company in 2007. Previously a partner in Ramsden Barrett Architects, his role in the running of the company encompasses all facets. With particular expertise in the Motor Trade, Residential and Commercial Office sectors and in dealing with difficult Planning Applications, Alan combines a creative design approach with commercial acumen to evolve buildings which are deliverable.

Paul joined RBA in 1996 as an Architectural Assistant, became an Associate in 2003 and Director in 2007. He combines good design skills with a pragmatic approach to architecture to deliver innovative solutions.

David was the founding partner of the practice Ramsden Barrett Associates in 1989, and together with Alan and Paul as co-directors subsequently set up Ramsden & Partners in 2007. David has developed an exceptional network across the North and the South East, and established a proactive and very commercial method of working to the benefit of both clients and the success of the company. His experience in the industry goes back over 35 years where David as worked in practically every sector for many types of organisation. David particularly enjoys creating opportunities for both client and the practice, and 'troubleshooting' on clients' existing difficult or failing schemes.
